Abstract

The effectiveness of fund distribution to beneficiaries is a key indicator in evaluating zakat institution performance. However, monitoring fund distribution at the Infaq Management Agency (LMI) Headquarters requires integrated information to support data-driven decision-making. This study aims to design a Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard model to monitor fund distribution effectiveness using the Allocation to Collection Ratio (ACR) as a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) within the Zakat Core Principles (ZCP) framework. The study employs the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), covering problem identification, solution objectives, design and development, demonstration, evaluation, and communication. Secondary data on LMI fund collection and distribution from 2023–2025 were analyzed. The results show that ACR increased from 19.53% in 2023 to 47.21% in 2024 and 50.07% in 2025. Overall, the three-year ACR was 39.88%, categorized as “Below Expectation,” below the 70% target. The BI model integrates Input, Logic, and Access Layers to process data, calculate ACR, and present interactive visualizations. The dashboard provides information on fund collection, distribution, ACR trends, effectiveness classification, and program details, supporting structured and data-driven monitoring and evaluation
